Pre-tournament

Time slot 14:00-19:00

Please participate in the pre-tournament match during the time slot at your convenience.

Player who has ranked in Top 8 in THE WORLD 2015 STAGE 3 will be seeded 1-8 and will be exempted from SHOOT OUT. If player wishes to do SHOOT OUT, the said player's seeding spot will be eliminated.

Registration will end one hour before the end of pre-tournament match.

Valid photo identification showing your name and date of birth (e.g. Passport) is required for registration.

Pre-tournament

SHOOT OUT and BULL MASTER will be used for the pre-tournament match.

Two games of BULL MASTER per player

< Seeding >

The tournament position will be decided according to the ranking of SHOOT OUT.
In the event that SHOOT OUT scores are tied, the player with the most bulls in BULL MASTER will win.
(In case players cannot participate in the pre-tournament games, WSDA will decide the tournament position. )

"BULL MASTER" is a competitive game that tests how many consecutive BULLs can be hit by an individual player.

This tournament employs DARTSLIVE 2 as official dart machines.
Each match of this tournament will be played under rules of "No Handicap" and "Single Elimination"

< Game format >

701-STANDARD CRICKET-STANDARD CRICKET-701-CHOICE

THE WORLD MODE loaded in DARTSLIVE2 will be used for all matches.

Best of 5 Legs (The first player to win 3 legs wins the match.)

Alternative start.

The round limit of 701 is 15, while STANDARD CRICKET is 20.

Each player may take 2 rounds of practice throws (6 darts throws) before the match.

< Cork >

  • Throwing order will be decided by Corking.

  • Coin toss function of DARTSLIVE2 will decide the player who throws for the Cork first.

  • The player who throws closest to the center of the BULL can choose his/her throwing order.

  • If the first player's dart hit the center of the BULL, the second player is required to acknowledge the first player's dart is in the center of the BULL, remove the dart and then throw for the cork.

  • In the first leg, the throwing order can be decided by the cork.

  • In the second to fourth legs, players throw first alternatively regardless of the game results.

  • In Choice of the final leg, the player who throws closest to the center of the BULL can choose either to "throw first" or "select a game".

About "SHOOT OUT" and "BULL MASTER" prize

Players who have scored the highest in "SHOOT OUT" and "BULL MASTER" will receive US$ 300 as prize money.

WSDA assumes no responsibility for any tax on prize money. Each player is responsible for paying applicable taxes on their prize winnings.

Entry Fee

  • DARTSLIVE PREMIUM MEMBER: US$ 100

  • The other players: US$ 120
    (The fee above covers the official badge and THE WORLD 2015 DARTSLIVE CARD)

Player who did not pay the entry fee by the day before the tournament will have to pay US$150 (Or equivalent in local currency) in cash at the check in on tournament day.

Please contact WSDA for any payment method other than credit card. Except for any special circumstances, entries and payment can be made only on the entry form page in THE WORLD official website

WSDA membership registration

To participate in THE WORLD 2015, players must be the member of WSDA except for the players who are exempted from the membership registration.
Players who need the membership registration are required to pay CA$ 630, equivalent to US$ 500 as the WSDA membership fee at the registration of the first participation.
Without the membership registration payment, we cannot accept your participation.
All fees and payments are not refundable under any circumstances. Paid entry fees are not exception.

Participation Rules

Usage of THE WORLD 2015 DARTSLIVE CARD and wearing an official badge is mandatory during the tournament.

In case of loss or damage of DARTSLIVE CARD or official badge, a new one must be purchased.

  • THE WORLD 2015 DARTSLIVE CARD: US$ 30 (or CA$ 40)

  • THE WORLD official badge: US$ 10 (or CA$ 15)

THE WORLD 2015 DARTSLIVE CARD may not be sold or transferred to any third party.
Players who violate this rule will be disqualified from playing in the tournament.
